Hello everyone,

I'm trying to replicate specific headers defined in the Store Changes option directly into the target tables in Snowflake, in addition to their presence in the __CT (Change Tables). Specifically, I’d like to have the Store Changes headers (e.g., header__change_seq, header__timestamp) added as new columns to the target tables. These new columns should have the same names of the headers defined for the Change Tables.

I tried using Global Rules within the task to add these headers as new columns, referencing their values from the Expression Builder (e.g., $AR_H_TIMESTAMP). However, when the task starts, the tables are suspended because Qlik Replicate attempts to create the Change Tables with duplicate fields, as these headers are already part of the Change Tables structure.

Is it possible, and if so, how, to filter out the Change Tables when applying Global Rules? This would allow the headers to be added as new columns exclusively to the target tables and not to the Change Tables.

I’ve found a few workarounds, but they are not without issues. I’m listing them below for the sake of clarity:

1st workaround: First, I disable the Global Rules. Then I start a Full Reload of the task with the “Keep old changes and store new changes in existing change table” option enabled in Store Changes. After that, I enable the Global Rules and start another Full Reload. In this case the headers are added to the target tables and no error is encountered for the Change Tables since they have been already created. 

Problems:

• At least Two full Reloads are needed.
• The addition of new tables in the replication task requires careful management of the Global Rules and multiple table reloads.

2nd workaround: First, I remove the headers from the Change Tables by unchecking them in the Store Changes tab. Then I enable the Global Rules for all tables (including the Change Tables).

Problems:

• The Change Tables are defined without primary key. This may impact the replication performance.
• Tables cannot contain LOBs.

I’m also adding that our setup involves an Oracle source database and a Snowflake target.

We need to migrate Qlik Sense Enterprise (May 2025) from Server 2012 R2 to Server 2025.

I found the support articles that have detailed instructions but couple of questions.

1. When I install Qlik Sense May 2025 to new server can I use the same licence temporarily on the new and old server before we shut down the old server?

2. When I do the backup of Qlik Sense on the old server I understood it does backup of everything (repository database, Qlik Share folder, QMC settings etc). Is that correct?

I need help figuring out how to accomplish the following:

We have 2 root containers: RC1 and RC2

Is there a way to prevent developers from other than team1 to make DCGV calls to RC1?

I have being trying to setup automation for 2 application to be refreshed every 5 mins (Extract and UI), using Loop and every automation will run for 4 hours as maximum execution time for an automation is 14400 seconds, so we are ending our automation run when Runtime goes beyond 14300 second, keeping 100 seconds, buffer for next run to be scheduled,
But sometimes the automation stop premautrely, Like around 2 hr and 30 mins in or 47 min run, it got finished, 
without throwing any error, and the condtion was still false for (Runtime >= 14300), so It woulnt have ended.
In the DO Reload block I have tried both wait for reload to complete and Start reload and continue, as we need 48 reloads per 4 hours, Start reload and continue seems the best option. but when the reload gets queued, the Loops keep giving output Reload Ongoing, till its finished, but soemtimes, its just ends the automation on the Loop without throwing any error, or sometimes, it just end on Sleep block.

I have a Qlik Sense application with a template sheet that contains a series of table and chart objects. Each day, depending on certain conditions, I need to duplicate this template sheet and update specific parameters within the expressions of each object. I’ve created an Automation process that successfully duplicates the template sheet, but I’m unsure how to modify the expressions of the objects within the new sheet or how to change the sheet’s show/hide condition. Do you have any suggestions or ideas on how to achieve this?
